We're no better than those we hate if we kill the ones we love
Always afraid to let them in, we leave them out in the cold
Shut the door in their faces and deny them all their needs
Isolate them and pull them up by their roots like they are weeds
Quarentine them as if they are a disease that is fatal
Cut them out and bleed with loss, leaving us broken and unstable
